Artist Bio:
Mike Ogle started out by picking up a guitar at the
age of four. He started playing the bass
guitar at the age of twelve with his parent’s gospel group. He has been around music his whole life and
as a young teen developed his love for songwriting. Mike played locally for years and took time
off, devoting that time in raising his two daughters with his wife. During this
time, he spent many hours playing music and writing songs. Mikes influences are
Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and many others. He has played in bands that have
opened for several major acts, such as Red Steagall, John Anderson, and Mel
McDaniel. Also Mikes band backed Barbara Fairchild because her band was unable to make it. Mike tries to stick to his roots by performing traditional country and his album has a traditional feel with a twist of modern.
